Tim Nelson joined Midwestern Engineers in 2006 as Environmental & Safety Administrator.  He has a strong background in utility operations, previously serving an operations superintendent for a large water utility.  At Midwestern, Tim’s responsibilities include authoring reports for Wellhead Protection Plans, Emergency Response Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention, NPDES, Land Application plans, permits, and renewals.  Other tasks also include flow testing, system evaluations, and project inspection.  Tim has served as a trainer and facilitator for a variety of utility operations and safety courses.  He is a Past Chair of the Indiana Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA).  Tim grew up in Golden, Colorado, but now calls Dubois County Home.  Tim and his family now enjoy the country life in Birdseye where he took over his grandpa’s family farm.
